I went to Oxford in 2006, where studied maths and philosophy for a year before switching to Philosophy, Politics and Economics. After working in India as a economic research assistant I completed an M.A. in philosophy at King's College London and worked full-time as a tutor for 3 years. In 2014 I began teaching in schools and have taught at Wren Academy in North Finchley and King's College London Mathematics School in Waterloo, where my students received the best A-level grades in the country in 2017.

Alongside tutoring and teaching, I also work part-time as a musician. I have conducted musicals, directed pop and jazz groups, and co-founded Sound, a pop, funk and soul choir. I play guitar and cello, and sing with a number of ensembles and bands, including my band Zig Zag Birds, who released their first album in 2017.

I'm a keen traveller, and try to explore other countries as much as I can. I enjoy cycling tours and recently completed a cycle from London to Istanbul - it was quite an adventure! My favourite country I've been to is India, where I spent six months working after university, and in 2013 I wrote an article based on my work there that was published by The Harvard Business Review, which you can read here.
